New Calculations in the ODX Software

We are pleased to announce that the ODX software has the ability to calculate the following biomarker results:

• Copper: Zinc Ratio
• Unsaturated Iron Binding Capacity (UIBC)

Copper: Zinc Ratio

Evaluating the ratio of copper to zinc in the blood may be better than looking at each one separately and ODX will now calculate the ratio if both serum copper and zinc are entered. The result will show in the Blood Test Results Report:

Unsaturated Iron Binding Capacity (UIBC)

UIBC is calculated using the following formula when both serum iron and TIBC are entered into the software:

UIBC = TIBC - Iron

When both values are entered into the software, we will calculate UIBC for you and the result will appear in your FHR
