Dysbiosis Leads to Dysfunction

The microbiome comprises all microorganisms—bacteria, viruses, and fungi—that reside within the human body, significantly influencing our physiology and health.

An imbalance in this microbial community, known as dysbiosis, can lead to various symptoms and is linked to numerous systemic diseases.

Dysbiosis is influenced by genetic factors, lifestyle habits, diet (especially ultra-processed foods and additives), and medications; however, it cannot be diagnosed through standard laboratory tests.

Addressing whole-body dysbiosis through lifestyle changes, proper diet, and microbial modulation holds great potential for diagnosing, treating, and monitoring various health conditions, making it a promising therapeutic target.
