About the practitioner
Dr. Linda Read-Shelby has been in private practice for over 20 years. She holds a Doctorate in Chinese medicine and is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in California. She holds a Diplomat in Asian Medicine, and is certified in Functional Applied Clinical Nutrition and a certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach. As a clinician she has treated numerous conditions and people of all ages through her years in practice. She guides and coaches her patients toward optimal aging and wellness using acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional therapies. She uses her advanced training in blood chemistry and specialized functional lab testing to support and encourage the body back to a state of health. She has advanced specialty training in Cardiology, Digestive disorders, Cognitive decline, Women's Health including menopause and infertility. She treats with Natural Functional Medicine to support the body, mind and spirit through it's many stages of transformation toward optimal health and vitality.About the practice
Our focus and goal is to address the person who is looking for help and support them with their general health or a specific concern. We treat with Natural Functional medicine and Chinese medicine addressing their core health issues. Many people we see and treat are functional gastrointestinal disorders, cognitive decline with aging and cardiovascular concerns. Many people just want one on one contact to guide them to overall well-being. We do this. Dr. Read-Shelby has undergone extensive training in Womens Health including Menopause and Infertility and helping couples have babies.
