Naturopathic medicine looks across systems rather than at symptoms in isolation. I pair functional assessment with a foundational piece that most optimization plans skip: nervous system regulation. The nervous system sets the terms for everything downstream sleep, digestion, recovery, focus, and the ability to actually sustain a change once it's made. When it's locked in a protective, over-activated state, even the right protocol struggles to hold. Regulating it first is a major stepping stone toward real integration the point where the gains last. From there the work integrates: regulate the state, address the root cause, and build the patterns that keep results in place.
