About the practitioner
Hi, I'm Dr. Amy Bruner - a board-certified OB/Gyn and functional medicine physician in private practice in Portland, Oregon since 1997. Many of the women I care for have been with me for more than twenty years. My work centers on hormone health, metabolism, and longevity in midlife: bio-identical hormone replacement, thyroid and adrenal function, metabolic and gut health, and advanced testing. Pairing conventional training with functional medicine lets me look for what's driving a problem rather than managing it at the surface. Outside the clinic, I'm a mom to two sons, a classical pianist of forty years, and a scuba diver of twenty-five. At home there are chickens, a salt water reef tank, and a fair number of reptiles.About the practice
