1. Make sure you have an active ODX and Designs for Health account.

Please note that the DFH integrations is only available in the U.S. and Canada

3. Enable Designs For Health Connection

  • On the Integrations page you'll see all the available integrations
  • Click the "Designs for Health " tile to enable the connection

4. Connect Your Designs for Health  Account to ODX

  • On the DFH Integrations Page, scroll to the bottom of the page to add your Account URL.
  • Click the blue "Connect" button, and your DFH account will be connected
  • You will see your Account URL on the page

5. Add a New Designs for Health Treatment Plan Based On Your Patient's Blood Test!!

Create a unique and individualized treatment plan from your patient's Functional Health Report! Using the entire DFH catalog or a curated list of DFH products from the Designs for Health Protocol Template, start building your unique treatment plan.

6. Set Treatment Plan As Complete

When you have finished adding products and changing dosage, etc., Set the treatment plan as complete to create the unique purchase link that you can send to your patients.

7. Copy the Unique Buy Link and Email to Patients for Purchase and Fulfillment

Copy the unique purchase link and email it to your patient.

Once they click the link, the products you selected in your treatment plan will be loaded int a shopping cart for purchase and fulfillment by DFH.

Patient purchases the supplements, and you get your commission!

Integration FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions regarding the DFH integration with Optimal DX

Is the DFH integration included with my ODX membership?

Yes! Connecting to DFH is available to users in the United States and Canada with ODX.  Standard DFH account terms still apply.

For users outside of the United States and Canada, you can create Designs for Health treatment plans using the DFH catalog built into the ODX Default Product Library; however, you cannot use the DFH virtual dispensary experience in ODX.

Is the Designs for Health catalog of products kept up-to-date?

Yes, ODX connects directly to Designs for Health via API and keeps an updated product catalog. If DFH changes a product on their end or adds a new product, ODX will keep our catalog in sync.

Can I customize which DFH products to use in the treatment plan?

Yes! You have complete control over the products that are associated with the health concerns we use in ODX.  Add or remove products as needed, select products by ingredient or category, and adjust the dosage.

Once you are happy with the final treatment plan, select "Review & Complete". From there, you can copy the unique buy link and email it to your patient.

How does billing/fulfillment work?

In short, product ordering by the patient and final fulfillment happens via DFH. ODX handles the building of the treatment plan, selecting the products, and creation of the unique buy link; DFH handles the shipment.

 

Will patients see both the plan and the products?

Yes. The patient will receive a unique buy link that when clicked will add each product from the treatment into the shopping cart for purchase and fulfillment.

if you choose, you can create an in-depth Health IMprovement Plan from within your ODX account that graphically displays the proucts in the plan.
