About the practitioner
Rachel Meadows is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who believes in providing high quality, affordable care to the Roanoke Valley. She also wants to ensure that you feel valued, heard, and never rushed through an appointment. She utilizes an integrative approach to care, by blending holistic and traditional medicine.She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Radford University and a Masters degree in nursing from Old Dominion University. She has over 17 years of experience and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including hospital pediatrics, urgent care, emergency care, family medicine, and health/wellness coaching. In July 2021 she and her family finally made the decision that it was time to do something different. Rachel opened her direct primary care practice in September 2021, where she provides an integrative and modern approach to care. During her career she has helped patients reach their wellness goals, bridging the gap in care within the medical community. She is passionate about building and maintaining relationships and promoting wellness with her patients.About the practice
